Privacy
What Corridor Research LLC collects through this site, why, and who else handles it. In short: we collect what you choose to send us, use it to reply and to work with you on a potential transaction, and don't sell it.
What we collect
- What you send us. The valuation and contact forms ask for your name, email and company or firm, plus whatever you choose to tell us about your business or your acquisition criteria, such as revenue range, region, timeline, role and notes. If you email us directly, we receive what your email contains.
- Technical data. Like any website, ours receives technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and when. Our hosting provider uses it to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
- No advertising or tracking. We don't use cookies for advertising or analytics, and the site runs no advertising or cross-site tracking scripts.
How we use it
- To reply to you and route your note to the right partner.
- To evaluate and work on a sale, acquisition or search you've asked us about.
- To keep records of our business correspondence and meet our legal obligations.
We don't sell personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who else handles it
A few service providers handle information on our behalf, each under its own privacy terms:
- FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) relays form submissions to our inbox. This site has no server of its own, so a submission passes through FormSubmit on its way to us.
- Google Workspace hosts our email.
- Cloudflare hosts the site and processes the technical data described above.
Beyond them, we share what you tell us only with your permission (for example, when you ask us to introduce you to a buyer or a seller) or when the law requires it.
Company information on the Market Map
The Market Map lists pest control businesses and business-level facts about them: name, headquarters city and state, website, estimated revenue and headcount, ownership type, service mix and a short description. It is compiled from commercial business databases and companies' own public websites, and its figures are estimates. It does not publish personal contact information.
If your company is listed and something is wrong, or you would like it removed, email [email protected] and we will correct it or take it down.
Business contacts we obtain from others
To reach owners who may be open to a sale, we obtain business contact information, such as name, title, company and work email, about owners and executives of pest control businesses from commercial data providers and public sources. We use it only to contact those people about potential transactions. If you would rather not hear from us, tell us and we will stop.
How long we keep it
We keep correspondence and inquiry details for as long as we need them to respond, to work on a transaction, and to keep reasonable business records. If you ask us to delete your information, we will, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Your choices
Email [email protected] to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, or to stop hearing from us.
Security
The site and its forms use encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No transmission or storage is completely secure, so please don't send financial statements or other highly sensitive documents through the forms; ask us for a secure way to share them.
Children
This site is for business owners and investors. It isn't directed to children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
